Description
Select green leaves are used in the production of Dark pearl teas. The leaves plucked need to be of high grade and specifically two leaf and a bud. The tea leave is characterized by the pearl shape and is a full fermented tea. The buds are a golden color with dark colored leaves. The liquor of the tea is a darker color as well with a relatively malty taste. Thus, the name “Dark pearl”.
Origin: Our teas are sourced from the high altitude hills of Nepal ranging from 4000 to 8000 feet. These specialty teas are grown and plucked by local farmers.

This was the first loose leaf tea that I tried and I have to say that it tastes pretty great. I’ve never been a tea drinker but decided to start trying a few kinds and this is probably my favorite so far. The tea has a very great smell that makes me just want to eat the leaves themselves.
