At that height, the air stays thin and cool even in peak season, so the plant grows slower than it would lower down — and a slower leaf is a more concentrated one. The tea tastes delicious and was whole leaf as shown in the description. I'm trying to drink tea without sweeteners and this is delightful to drink as is.
First thing first, A Very fresh tea. As soon as I opened the tube, a wonderful aroma greeted me. The tea tastes great. It has a little note of natural sweetness to it. My husband asked if I put sugar in it. There is also just a nice, balanced finish. I've been ordering from Himalko tea frequently, and their teas are truly amazing. Himalko Premium black tea and Himalko gold tea to name a few are my must-have teas. Prior to this, I had used tea bags (sometimes Lipton sometimes more expensive brands), however, this is beyond night and day. I love this tea.
